Frequently Asked Questions

The only surprise you should have on your wedding day is the look on your spouse's face as you walk down the aisle.

I've compiled some frequently asked questions that my brides have asked over the years.

FAQs

What is a bridal preview?

Some people know this as a “trial run”, but in my chair, it is a preview simply because it is a preview of your look for the big day; similar to print previews, we do this to test the look, catch any changes we would like to make, as well as for me to suggest any haircare or skincare changes needed to make sure you get the best results.

How far out do you start booking?

1 year usually. In most cases, as soon as you book the venue and have your dress, it's a good idea to book your beauty services. Our books open 1 year ahead at a time.

Can I do a trial run before booking?
We do not offer trial runs before booking. We do a bridal preview to test your look and wear close to wedding day. We cannot hold dates unless a contract is signed and the deposit is paid. My work on Instagram is never filtered, and it is true to life.

Is airbrush makeup heavy?

Airbrush is new to most ladies and not fully understood, and we get it! Airbrush is my most trusted foundation as it is lightweight. Most clients tell me it feels like nothing. It's hypoallergenic, and the finish is just like your own skin. Coverage is totally up to you, but focusing on natural glam, most brides opt for light-medium coverage that enhances but doesn't cover your skin.

Do you have minimums?

Yes! Saturdays have a minimum as they are the most requested days, ask Allyson what the minimum is for your season
